I have finally gotten back to knitting. A slow start, but have missed it nonetheless. I am working on the sock I started at the Spring Fling. And, yes, that was back in April. Currently, I'm about 20 rounds on a twin rib pattern, but may end up frogging it and just doing a plain vanilla sock pattern - thinking it might be better for this yarn. I needed to do about 10-20 rounds to see how it was shaping up to really get a better feel for what I thought. I forgot to take a photo, but may edit this post at some point to include a photo.
The other projects I have started, may end up getting frogged too. I feel the need to start fresh. There are only 2 other socks that need mates that I really care about. The rest, not so jazzed about anymore. Since I haven't bound off on them, it might be refreshing to frog them.
I also started a destash. So far, it has went well, but I feel as if I haven't even made a dent in my yarn stash. I need to reduce the amount of stuff in my life and have decided yarn is one of those things. The size of the stash scares me. At the pace in which I knit, I know it would be happier in other homes. Oh, never fear, I will keep a sizeable portion of it, but definitely want to reduce the clutter in my life, lol.
Soon, I hope to write another post. This time devoted to productive thoughts...as it relates to my reading adventures and my life in general. Stay tuned...
Take care all. Be back when the words are flowing... : )
I know the feeling. Knitting and blogging have been difficult this summer.
